Family is Everything.

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest grew into my undying passion for the mental health industry and eventually evolved into a rewarding career. I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas, followed by a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University. I was anxious to put my talents to work and began my private practice in the Fall of 2006.

I have been married to my soulmate for over ten years and am the mother of four beautiful children who both challenge and strengthen me daily. Family is extremely important to me, which is why I have made it my goal to help others experience the same love, acceptance, and growth in their own families. Along with being a mother and wife, I am also a disciple of Jesus Christ, striving to become closer to Him everyday.

My approach to therapy is simple- focus on your strengths, make small attainable goals, and change will follow. As a solution-focused therapist, I believe in looking toward the future and working together to find solutions to life's struggles. I know you have the capacity to create your own happiness within yourself, your marriage, and your family. You can find happiness today.
